55+ Active Adult Community At Ardiente In North Las Vegas, Nevada
Ardiente is a 24hr gated active adult 55+ retirement community, located in North Las Vegas just south of the 215 beltway and west of the I-15 and just 20 minutes to the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
The elevation at Ardiente is approximately 2,000 ft. above sea level.
For our Veterans, there’s a newer Nevada Veteran’s Administration Medical Center 1 1/2 miles from Ardiente. This includes a hospital, outpatient clinic and long term care facility. There is also a 55,000 sq. ft. commissary at Nellis Air Force Base 3 miles to the east.

Centex Homes started construction in 2005 and offered eight single-story plans from 1,235 to 2,352 square feet. The largest of these plans had an optional second story loft or bedroom with a total of 2,832 square feet. These homes featured 2 to 4 bedrooms, 2 or 3 bathrooms and an attached 2-car garage.
Shea Homes introduced Green Certified single-family floor plans in 2010 that range from 1,218 to 2,559 square feet. The Shea models have 2 to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 3 bathrooms and an attached 2 to 3 car garages. Shay Homes represents themselves as the first builder in the United States to introduce green, eco-friendly elements as standard, not optional.
Ardiente is a beautiful 788 home community loaded with a list of amenities to rival any other 55+ community and at the heart of Ardiente is the 20,000 square-foot Spanish-styled clubhouse.
Features include: fitness center, billiards room, card rooms, business office, fireside reading lounge and a multi-purpose event and meeting facility. Men and women’s lockers with showers and steam rooms.
The clubhouse at Ardiente will make you feel like you’re at a Resort and features a catering kitchen for community gatherings and also private events.
You can enjoy year-round outdoor tennis and pickleball, putting and chipping greens, basketball and bocce too. The residents will also find seven uniquely themed parks and a dog park. All are within a network of pedestrian walking and biking trails with twenty four fitness stations along the way. There are also outdoor common areas throughout the community’s grounds, including a BBQ area, an event lawn, and an outdoor patio for relaxing with friends.
Ardiente has a never ending array of fun of activities. Whether you prefer to sun by the pool, playing some golf or staying active in the many clubs, there’s something for everyone. A full-time activities director is on hand to help and answer your questions and help get you signed up in the tennis club, the walking group, get you in the morning yoga classes or one of the many other activities.
For the golfers the in the family there are several courses in the area. The closest course is Shadow Creek where Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson went head to head on Thanksgiving Day in 2018 on pay perview TV. It’s pricey, but one of Las Vegas Bests Courses. Aliante Golf Club IS very affordable and is a city owned 6,900-yard, par-72 course and available for play by the general public at Aliante a 55+ active adult retirement community. Also a short drive away is Sunrise Vista Golf Course. The Sunrise Vista Golf Course has 27 holes of championship golf and is a true challenge to golfers, novices to experts. It is open to military members, retirees, family members and authorized guests.
The course’s fees are reasonable with special discount green fee cards and annual weekday-only cards. The facility also has a driving range, chipping area and practice putting greens.
Rental equipment includes clubs, electric carts and pull carts. Instruction is also available from golf professionals. The air-conditioned golf clubhouse features a complete pro shop and snack bar.
