Sun City Aliante was developed by Del Webb from 2003 to 2008. Del Webb offered seven single-family floor plans from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet. Homes include two and three bedrooms, two baths with two-car garages.

Community amenities include tennis courts, recreation center with indoor lap pool/spa, exercise room and several multi-purpose rooms.

Sun City Aliante is located near the foothills of the Sheep Mountain Range and the New VA Medical Hospital in North Las Vegas. The terrain is flat with some unique views of the snow covered Mt. Charleston peak as well as views of the Sheep Mountains. Aliante Casino and Hotel is just minutes away and features a Stadium 16 & IMAX Theater.

Lots of new shopping centers in the area loaded with an array of stores including a new WinCo Foods grocery store, just a few miles away. The 215 Beltline has been completed in the area for fast safe travel. Mt. Charleston recreation area (11,916 ft.) is only a 40 minute drive away and features temperatures 20 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas area in the summer.

So, head up there to cool off during those hot summer days to take a hike or have lunch or dinner at the Mt. Charleston Lodge. Believe it or not, but you can snow ski there 4-5 months of the year at the Mt. Charleston Ski Resort.

Sun City Aliante is home to the Aliante Golf Club which is a city owned 6,900-yard, par-72 course and available for play by the general public.

There are over 30 clubs and interest groups here.  There’s also a community activities director coordinating group activities, so go in and introduce yourself and see what’s happening, because there is a club or organization for you here at Sun City Aliante.

Los Prados, Las Vegas, Nevada

Los Prados is a 24hr gate guarded 55+ retirement community in the northwest area of Las Vegas, Nevada.

If you’re looking for a place to store your RV onsite year round?  This just might be the place for you. The RV storage lot sizes range from a 9’ x 18’ to a 11’ x 40” space. All parking is outdoors and uncovered, but the area is securely fenced and gated. Oh, and did we say how affordable the homes are here in Los Prados too?

Home sizes range from approximately 1,083, 2 to 3 bedrooms, 2 to 3 bathrooms and attached 1 ( townhouses ) and 2 garages ( single family ). Single family homes and townhomes ( attached duplex, triplex, four-plex plans ).

Los Prados is comprised of 21 Villages only 4 are 55+ Active Adult Retirement Neighborhoods – Castle Bay Shores, Cedar Point, Colwood Place and Barrington Bay for a total of 1,358 homes. Colwood Place is a small 64 unit townhouse Village of duplex, tri-plex and four-plex homes. Colwood Place also has a private pool/spa area. The remainders of the villages in Los Prados are non 55+.

There is a main 24hr guard gate to the main community, but the 21 villages inside the community are not gated.

Los Prados residents can enjoy a clubhouse with a community director and several multi-purpose rooms for community activities and events. There are two pools, one on each side of the clubhouse with views of the golf course. Note: the pools at the clubhouse are open to the entire Los Prados community and are NOT 55+ active adult community pools. There are also two tennis courts next to the clubhouse. The community is nicely landscaped with mature trees, green grass and desert landscaping. There are plenty of sidewalks and trails for walking and biking throughout the community too.

The Los Prados Golf Course is an 18 hole golf course that was designed by architect Jeff Hardin and built in 1987. It plays to a par of 70, with yardage just under 6000. The greens are among the best in the city, the pace of play averages about 4 hours. Los Prados is a truly enjoyable golf experience in a beautiful relaxed setting.

Los Prados is just 35 minutes from the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area where you can enjoy dozens of great hikes of all levels of experience, a visitor center and maybe even see burros, desert tortoises and if you are really lucky, you may even see some bighorn sheep on the 13 mile scenic one way drive through the beautiful Red Rock Canyon. Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is just 3 miles down the road and was home to Howard Hughes at one point. This is also home to the Super Summer Outdoor Theater  Mt. Charleston recreation area is only a 40 minute drive away and features temperatures 20 degrees cooler than the Las Vegas/Henderson area in the Summer. Ovation At Mountain Falls, Pahrump, Nevada

Ovation at Mountains Falls   Is a gated community and part of the fabulous Mountain Falls master planned community. Mountains on 3 sides with views of Mt Charleston and the Mountain Falls golf course, you must come out and see this hidden jewel in Pahrump, Nevada.
