The community features a total of 840 homes. It first opened for sale back in July of 2005, by Del Webb. This will make it the smallest of all the Pulte Dell Webb communities in this area. It has all the great features of other Del Webb Pulte age restricted communities, just on a smaller scale.

The Solera at Stallion Mountain community features one-story stucco homes with five different floor plans. Homes in this neighborhood feature two to three bedrooms with attached two-car garages. Home sizes range from 1,155 square feet to 1,716 square feet, depending on the floor plan. The homes are available with various features. Some kitchens offer Granite or Corian countertops and all white or stainless steel appliances. Some of the homes also include a covered patio and golf course views. Desert landscaping with drought tolerant plants keeps the watering bill low.

Residents of Del Webb’s Solera at Stallion Mountain will enjoy the beautiful clubhouse.  Features include a fully equipped fitness center and aerobic studio, along with board rooms and multipurpose areas for classes and recreation. The History of Stallion Mountain Golf Club Sunrise Mountain, on the eastern reaches of the Las Vegas Valley, is the backdrop for a great golfing venue, Stallion Mountain Golf Club. This great Par 72, 7,351 yard layout offer golfers at every level a unique golfing opportunity while walking the fairways that even the world’s best players have crossed. Stallion offers a beautiful, exclusive and varied golf escape in a wonderful southwestern theme.

The Club was originally a 54-hole facility named Sunrise Golf Club when it opened in 1991. Several years later, the owners decided that the land was worth more to the housing market of the early 2000’s boom and reduced the course to what they considered their best 18 holes of golf. The recession that hit the country in 2008 sent the Golf Club spiraling, but the new owners have now resurrected the once great facility and brought it back to life.

The original design of Stallion Mountain was done by Jim Colbert and Jeff Brauer, as Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley modified it into one course in 2004, adding tiered fairways, dramatic green complexes and plenty of deep bunkers and water hazards. Accuracy and length off the tee are necessary skills if you want to score well at Stallion Mountain and the greens can prove tricky for those lacking a solid short game. Four tee options are available, allowing players a nice amount of options when it comes to catering the course to their skill level.

For those who enjoy shopping; The Galleria Mall is close by in Henderson. “Boulevard Mall” was developed in 1965, during a colorful star filled era. The first of her kind, she lost her luster along the way but a longtime Las Vegas local saw her value and now she is on her way back.

Desert Springs Hospital is close by to meet any medical needs.

Lake Mead National Recreation Area is just a short 15 minute drive from Solera at Stallion Mountain. Drive out and enjoy the scenic Lake Mead drive to the small city of Overton and have breakfast at Sugars the local dining “Hot Spot” for a great breakfast, but on your way back make sure you stop by the Valley of Fire State Park.
